The great thing about dividend growth investing is that you get paid for doing nothing. You just hold stock in these wonderfull companies and you get paid again and again. Who doesn't want that? :)
In this blogpost I will list my dividend income for the month of August 2017.
I received a total of $64.25 in dividend income. This is after taxes.
The following stocks paid me a dividend:
AT&T (T): $16.66
CVS Health (CVS): $6.37
American Express (AXP): $4.08
Omega Healthcare Investors (OHI): $32.64
Realty Income (O): $4.50
Last year August I didn't receive any dividends, so I can't give you a year on year growth percentage, but that's okay. I have only been investing for just over a year, so gotta start somewhere, right?
Here's the updated dividend income graph:
How was your month? Got some nice juicy dividends as well? Make sure to leave a comment.
