May 2020 is in the books. Let's see how much income my investments produced for me last month.
In this blogpost I will list my dividend and option income for the month of May 2020
In May I realized a total of $526.98. This is made up of $242.55 of dividends and $284.43 from option trading.
These are the stocks that paid me a dividend:
British American Tobacco (BATS): $129.39
American Express (AXP): $5.48
Apple (AAPL): $3.48
Realty Income (O): $9.90
Texas Instruments (TXN): $22.95
Caterpillar (CAT): $13.13
Starbucks (SBUX): $17.42
Williams-Sonoma (WSM): $40.80
Last year May I received $166.73 in dividends. That means that this year I received %45.47 more dividends than last year May. Nice!
All dividends are after dividend taxes of 15%, but I can reclaim this via the Dutch IRS, so there's an added bonus there when I do my taxes for 2020 (in March next year).
How was your month? Hopefully you received some nice dividends as well. Did you make any stock purchases while stocks were on sale?
