October 2018 Dividend Income Summary

October has come to an end.

In this blogpost I will list my dividend income for the month of October 2018.

In October I received a total of $96.62 in dividend income.

The following stocks paid me a dividend:

Coca Cola Company (KO): $13.26
Altria (MO): $13.60
Philip Morris (PM): $30.64
Realty Income (O): $4.68
Medtronic (MDT): $9.20
Cisco (CSCO): $25.24

Last year October I received $39.26. That means that this years October dividend income is a 146.1% increase from last year October. Nice!

Updated graph

Here's the updated dividend income graph:

All dividends are after dividend taxes of 15%, but I can reclaim this via the Dutch IRS, so there's an added bonus there when I do my taxes for 2018 (in March 2019).

Purchases / sales

In October I made one purchase. On 23 October I bought 20 shares of Texas Instruments (TXN) for $98.08 per share, including commissions.

For my reasoning on this purchase, I would recommend you check out this article by Jason Fieber where he analyzes this company.

There were no sales in October.

How was your month? Got some nice juicy dividend as well? Make sure to leave a comment.
