The third quarter of the year has come to an end.
In this blogpost I will list my dividend income for the month of June 2018.
In September I received a total of $199.44 in dividend income.
The following stocks paid me a dividend:
Royal Dutch Shell (RDS.A): $27.99
Unilever (UN): $19.12
Ford (F): $20.40
Pfizer (PFE): $14.45
Boeing (BA): $14.53
IBM (IBM): $13.34
Johnson & Johnson (JNJ): $11.47
3M (MMM): $11.56
Microsoft (MSFT): $10.71
Realty Income (O): $4.67
NextEra Energy (NEE): $9.43
Qualcomm (QCOM): $15.81
Lockheed Martin (LMT): $10.20
Pepsico (PEP): $15.77
Some of the stocks mentioned above paid me dividend in euros. For reporting purposes, I calculated these back to dollars using the closing exchange rate of 28 September 2018: 1.16216 (€1 = $1.16216).
Last year September I received $163.45. That means that this years September dividend income is a 22.01% increase from last year September. Nice!
Updated graph
Here's the updated dividend income graph:
All dividends are after dividend taxes of 15%, but I can reclaim this via the dutch IRS, so there's an added bonus there when I do my taxes for 2018 (in March 2019).
Purchases / sales
In September I made two purchases. On 21 September I bought 17 shares of Altria (MO) for $63.04 per share, including commisions.
On 21 September I also bought 12 shares of Philip Morris (PM) for $84.16 per share, including commisions.
I already had small positions in MO and PM in my portfolio. That's why I decided to add to them, because both MO and PM are trading at (in my opinion) very attractive prices.
There were no sales in September.
How was your month? Got some nice juicy dividends as well? Make sure to leave a comment.
Thanks for reading.
